Digital Journalism

The Digital Journalism concentration prepares students for careers such as news reporting, writing, editing, producing, and photojournalism in traditional and emerging media. Students learn how to inform the public through online newspapers, television, radio, online magazines, blogs, websites, mobile apps, and social media.  In Digital Journalism students will be prepared for many careers outside the traditional and emerging news media.

Digital Journalism is aiming to produce critical thinkers and practitioners with skills on production for multimedia by combining the broadcasting skill and digital platform. Digital Journalism instill solid foundation of professional practical and academic disciplines in Mass Communication to be a professional in the field. Every organization needs professionals who know how to write and edit content and create stories for an audience, and the Digital Journalism track provides students with these skills.
